Roelfien werd geboren in Oud\u2011Annerveen, maar verhuisde al jong naar het \u2018Grootblok\u2019; ze was de tweede in een boerengezin met drie kinderen.<\/p>\n<p>Ondanks haar geboorte in Annen, waar ze ook naar de lagere school ging, bleek ze zich toch vooral \u2018Anloo\u00ebr\u2019 te voelen en voelde ze zich betrokken bij alles wat zich in het dorp afspeelde. Alles wat er in kranten en tijdschriften in druk verscheen over Anloo werd zorgvuldig uitgeknipt en in haar archief opgeslagen. Hiermee heeft ze de basis gelegd voor het uitgebreide archief van de vereniging Historisch Anloo. Ze was \u00e9\u00e9n van de aanjagers van het jaarlijkse Etstoel-gebeuren in Anloo, \u00a0mede oprichter van de Stichting Etstoel, mede samensteller van het boek \u2018Anloo in het landschap Drenthe\u2019, vele jaren voorzitter van Vrouwen van Nu; en altijd iemand die de puntjes op de i zette.<\/p>\n<p>De werkgroep Historisch Anloo, de voorloper van de vereniging, werd opgericht op 29\u00a0september 2005 en Roelfien was vanaf die datum jarenlang penningmeester. Nadat de werkgroep in december 2010 was omgezet in de vereniging Historisch Anloo is Roelfien die functie nog blijven vervullen tot in 2011. Waarna ze langzamerhand haar activiteiten afbouwde, omdat de jaren nu echt gingen tellen. Zelfs na de verhuizing met haar man Otto naar een aanleunwoning bij het Holthuys in Annen bleef Roelfien ge\u00efnteresseerd in het reilen en zeilen in Anloo; en altijd kon je bij haar terecht met vragen over de geschiedenis van Anloo.<\/p>\n<p>Nu ze zelf geschiedenis is geworden is deze onvervangbare vraagbaak ons ontvallen, een groot verlies voor allen die haar hebben gekend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Op 21 augustus 2020 overleed op de leeftijd van 92 jaar Roelfien Meursing-Kasemir, een van de grondleggers van de vereniging Historisch Anloo.
